Team Overview

As part of DiDi’s User Insights team, you will become the empathy expert by becoming the voice of the users in order to improve and build on all of the experiences that DiDi provides to them. You will be responsible for gathering and transforming all the information into insights that will inform the creation of new product features, new product lines, improvements in the user experience, strategy definition, etc. 

You will be the face of DiDi uncovering Users’ motivations, behaviors, and culture of  Drivers, Passengers, Restaurants, Eaters, Couriers, and all of the actors that interact with the DiDi Ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide Marketing, Operations, and Product teams with actionable and holistic insights that take into account users needs, and business needs and objectives.
  • Design of efficient and effective research plans that help answer users and business objectives, with a twist that challenges the status quo of the teams and triggers questions of  “what if…” and “how might we…”
  • Create high quality User Insights artifacts (outputs) that are actionable and inspiring. Presentations, User Archetypes, Journeys, Trends, are a must, just to mention a few.
  • Get insights out of different methods including 1:1 interviews, focus groups, ethnographies, usability tests, card sortings, etc.
  • Assist the teams in Market intelligence trips to turn ethnographic, social and cultural descriptive observations into powerful and actionable insights.
  • Manage business and external (agency) stakeholders, always giving visibility of expectations and timings to reach research goals successfully.

Role Qualifications

Minimum: 

  • Is self-motivated and proactive when it comes to problem solving, a Senior role is expected to have a high degree of agency and autonomy while giving timely visibility of status and roadblocks.
  • Has at least 5 years of experience implementing various generative and evaluative research methodologies (such as interviews, ethnographies, focus groups, card sortings, concept testing, benchmarking/competitive analysis, usability tests, just to name a few.)
  • Is a master in crafting inspiring storytelling and presentations weaving qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Has experience setting and analyzing tests using UX Research tools (such as Maze, Optimal Workshop, UserZoom, etc.)
  • Has experience running and assisting in innovations, insights, and business workshops.
  • Has intermediate knowledge in User Experience and Product.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, sociology, marketing, psychology anthropology, or related.
  • High proficiency in English reading and writing.

 

Preferred: 

  • Experience designing UX for digital services, or having worked with product teams. 
  •  Knowledge of Behavioral Design and/or Service Design.
  • SPSS, Conjointly, Zinklar or any other statistical and quantitative analysis tool is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of prototype creation in Figma or any similar tool.
  • Has intermediate knowledge of quantitative research techniques and concepts.
