Team Overview

Being part of the Spanish Speaking LatAm Strategy team involves supporting and developing one of the main cornerstones of the business. As part of the broader Central Ops organization, the Strategy team is responsible for planning and setting the strategy for our core Rides business across 9 countries, allocating resources between markets and functions by generating insights and creating win-win collaboration with different teams. This position will be responsible for building frameworks, generating forecasts and insights that make decision-making easier, understanding the marketplace and anticipating trends in the ride-hailing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and financial skills, a data driven mindset, ability to prioritize, attention to detail and excellent execution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work on the region’s strategy and budgeting processes with the leadership team;
  • Create frameworks and forecasting capabilities to improve decision-makin;
  • Analyze data to understand trends, competitive landscape and generate actionable insights;
  • Lead business discussions, creating reports and presentations;
  • Collaborate with several areas like operations, marketing, finance, product, and growth.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant degrees)
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in FP&A roles, consultancy, investment banking, and other related fields with a financial background
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional projects
  • Ability to learn and deliver results with high expectations of timeliness and quality
  • Ability to build financial models and forecasts, building reports and documents to summarize the main insights, raising the main takeaways to the leadership team
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, ability to break down complex problems into smaller and simpler ones, and capable of explaining and communicating them clearly
  • Tolerance of working in ambiguous and changing environments, great attention to detail and proactivity
  • Professional proficiency level in English and Spanish
  • Based in, or availability to move to, Bogotá D.C. (hybrid working model)
