Team Overview

As part of the broader Food Operations organization, our team is responsible to acquire new users into the platform and convert them into loyal users across the countries we operate in the Spanish Speaking Region. We do this by effectively managing our promotion activity, in-depth user understanding and effectively deploying our country strategies. In this role, you will lead a group of highly motivated individuals responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy across the countries we operate as well as driving their professional development and growth in the process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Full owner of strategies to improve user’s new growth, retention and drive new users into loyal users
  • Build pipeline of strategic projects to improve order growth and efficiency.
  • Lead the team to execute those projects in the agreed time frame ensuring a high quality output while working collaboratively with different relevant stakeholders. 
  • Monitor the operation on a daily basis, making timely changes as needed to meet OKR goals
  • Build process and principles within the organization to improve the operation performance 
  • Build relevant lasting organizational knowledge, document it and share with key stakeholders across the organization 
  • Collaborate with several supporting areas like marketing, product, and user research to help improve the user’s experience
  • Develop a high performance and motivated team and provide timely feedback to team members to ensure career development 
  • Be a champion of a team culture aligned to Didi values while guaranteeing a positive work environment 

Role Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience.
  • Engineering, economics or other analytically-focused academic background. Masters degrees welcome.
  • Management experience, leading and developing a team
  • Data driven and strategic mindset
  • Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks.
  • Clear communicator - able to synthesize a lot of information quickly and highlight the key insights.
  • Proficiency in English & Spanish
