As the Government Affairs Manager for 99, you will help and support GA Team to improve and implement strategies, action plans and procedures in order to strengthen relationships with key government and other stakeholders across local, state and federal levels in Brazil. For this role, you will focus the majority of your time on the federal level issues and stakeholders. You will be part of a team that supports other areas of the Company in charge of growing products and services portfolio in Brazil -- including mobility, delivery and payments -- while covering a wide range of challenging policy issues that affect our ability to operate.
You will be part of a team responsible for government affairs and public policy, which includes monitoring, analyzing, and developing arguments and regulations that may impact the activities carried out by the company. This will cover a wide range of challenging policy issues, including ridehailing regulations, safety, tax, driver community and sustainability.
99’s Government Affairs Team is also a key part of the international DiDi government affairs and broader external affairs team which spans 15+ markets around the world, and covers government affairs, communications and sustainability.
You will report directly to Brazil’s Head of GA, who reports directly to the Head of International External Affairs. GA Team in Brazil also reports to 99’s General Manager in the country.
