Team Overview

The primary function of the Sr BD Farmer is to develop and maintain a portfolio of key accounts to excel within the DiDi Food platform. An Account Manager should seek a win-win collaboration for all involved parties to achieve profitable growth for DiDi and our business partners. The Account Manager must gain a good understanding of the business, becoming an advisor to our business partners, contributing strategically to improving their performance. Through excellent customer service, they aim to maintain successful long-term business relationships.

Role Responsibilities


  • The primary point of contact with key accounts in your portfolio, ensuring close and continuous engagement with our business partners to provide strategic insight, address their inquiries, and jointly design robust action plans for growth and the best user experience on the app

  • Analyzing data and developing a profound understanding of allied business dynamics and behaviors to design, plan, and advocate for the implementation of data-driven business strategies, focusing on increasing current business participation and retention

  • Building and fostering a long-term relationship based on trust and a win-win mindset.

  • Leading weekly reviews and monthly strategic meetings with Top Tier businesses in your region to develop and maintain trusted strategic relationships with partners and achieve organic growth and long-term company goals

  • Make sure our partners are operating within the minimum accepted operational metrics and KPI´s

Role Qualifications


  • University degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, international business, or related fields

  • 3 or more years of experience in key account management and consultative selling

  • The ability and flexibility to adapt and learn, working in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment with challenging goals

  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and maintain constructive, assertive, collaborative, and cooperative working relationships with internal and external clients in multifunctional organizations

  • Analytical skills, capable of diagnosing market trends and executing action plans

  • Ability to understand DiDi's vision, strategy, structure, and KPIs and translate them into business plans

  • Experience working with CRM tools for sales teams.

  • Intermediate level of English proficiency

  • Experience working in start-up environments or tech companies (Desired)

  • Experience in retail or CPG companies, e-commerce oriented
