Team Overview

As one of DiDi  tax hires, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of DiDi growth trajectory by ensuring that quality tax operations are created to drive / Foods and Fintech business operations. As a Senior Tax Analyst you will be supporting the tax compliance process of Mexican entities for Ride-hailing, Food, and FinTech businesses; including Review and analysis of the accounting books and their reconciliation for tax purposes and being responsible for the preparation of work papers, filing and payment of tax returns. You will also participate in implementing processes and controls to enhance financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate aspires to grow with DiDi and is willing to support all business areas whenever needed.

Role Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the monthly and annual tax compliance: Prepare tax calculations, review, submit and pay tax returns (end-to-end process).

  • Review internal tax reports required for monthly tax compliance.

  • Keep complete records of all workpapers, tax filings and payments.

  • Control tax suppliers payments and coordinate the bidding process with new tax vendors.

  • Review monthly closing with accounting team.

  • Review and control non-deductible expenses.

  • Review and control withholding tax process.

  • Support the analysis of new tax regulations.

  • Review the intercompany transactions.

  • Provide tax receipts to vendors for WTH performed.

  • Provide support on the preparation of Tax Policies and Procedures for Mexico.

  • Provide support and coordinate with stakeholders for new processes and businesses implementation.

  • Assist in the preparation, review and follow up of writs and supporting documentation that Tax Authorities may request.

Role Qualifications


  • Advanced English level.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Mexican Taxes, mainly for Fintech entities.

  • Technically strong in corporate tax compliance – direct and indirect taxes.

  • Excellent skills with data tools.

  • Experience in a Big 4 or in a multinational corporation with regional scope is a plus.

  • Independent and able to work well with minimal supervision.
