Team Overview

The Eater Engagement team for DiDi Food México is looking for a data-driven, analytical and passionate individual that will support the team analyzing and structuring projects & initiatives that will allow us to increase eater frequency and retention.


 


She/he will work closely with experts in operation in the design, analysis and execution of campaigns with impact throughout Spanish Speaking Latam as well as market intelligence and user research. It is critical to expertly handle data extraction, manipulation and interpretation, in order to be able to really identify the levers of the levers for the results of the operation, not staying within the “obvious” solutions but peeling and deeply understanding and untangling the systemic nature of our operation, driving true change and evolution.


 

 The ideal candidates should have very strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, strong assertivity and openness to feedback, ruthless prioritization skills, and be ready to lead by example. You will be constantly seeking and acting on solutions that scale, creating those competitive advantages that will give us the edge in the industry. Your processes and projects will directly contribute to the success of DiDi Food business in Mexico!

Role Responsibilities


  • Operations: Supporting with structure, execution and analysis of growth/efficiency user campaign strategies on a country level for DiDi Food Mexico.

  • Data analytics: Building deep insights and propose optimization initiatives through Excel, Power BI, and other programming tools (SQL/Python). 

  • Competition: Analyzing pricing, features, strengths and weaknesses.  

  • Participate in the design of the short/mid-term strategy for the Mexico Eater engagement team alongside leadership.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand the delivery marketplace dynamics and levers so that every stakeholder (Couriers, Restaurants, CX, Marketing) has the best experience.

  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Develop robust processes and documentation.

Role Qualifications

Requirements:




    • Enrolled in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or other related fields at least 1 year before graduation.

    • Strong Structured, analytical thinking and concise communicator.

    • Inspired towards problem-solving.

    • Candidate should have a strong openness to new ideas, feedback and motivation to learn and adapt to changes constantly.

    • Enjoys facing challenges and building things from the bottom up, since DiDi is a company of entrepreneurs.

    • Ability to work in teams and contribute to a cohesive culture.

    • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

    • Fully bilingual. Possess excellent English/Spanish reading and verbal communication skills.



Technical Skills:




    • Excel and MS Office (required)

    • Intermediate/Advanced SQL (required)

    • R, Python or MATLAB (recommended)

    • Tableau or Power BI (nice to have)
