Team Overview

We are looking for a committed and experienced accounting manager. This position is based in our Brazil 99 local Office and reports to 99 tech accounting senior manager. As accounting manager, this position will support full accounting functions of 99 tech and 99 food business as local accounting compliance, regular closing, regular reconciliation and multiple reviews, business/finance projects, etc. and collaborate with HQ accounting team to achieve the business success in the region.

Role Responsibilities


  •        Regular local compliance risks review and awareness, communication with local RCCD, corresponding teams and HQ to implement accounting solution to eliminate risks;

  •       To accomplish local statutory requirements such as ECD, IBGE and support ECF independently on time, annual statutory auditing independently on time;

  • Regular review local GAAP with business to make sure the proper deployment of 99 accounting practice. 

  •           Responsible for accounting monthly closing timely and accurately, daily operation, reconciliations and BS review monthly, report issues and focus on problem solving;

  •       Support corporate accounting and internal control requirements;

  •           Responsible for accounting process benchmark and improving with best practice;

  •           Leading accounting projects as assigned and Work with group accounting leaders to roll out new accounting principles and ensure the high quality of their implementation;

  •          Support international accounting leader to improve the accounting operation quality in the region.

Role Qualifications


  •         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred;

  •         8+ years of full functions accounting experiences, especially general ledger accounting function, preferably with internet enterprise business background;

  •         Solid knowledge of IFRS GAAP and Brazil CPC;

  •         Hands-on, detail orientation, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines

  •         Advanced in English, in both writing and speaking, conversant Chinese is a plus;

  •         Advanced with Microsoft Office is a must and working knowledge of Oracle is a plus;

  •         Usable knowledge of tax fundamentals is a plus.
