Team Overview

Our Empowerment Operations team is looking for a high-performing intern to support one of the most impactful and fast-paced operational strategies in the region. This role is focused on optimizing and scaling key processes that directly support our couriers and shoppers within the DiDi Shop groceries ecosystem across Spanish-speaking Latin America.


You will work closely with experienced operations leaders to ensure efficient execution of prepaid card distribution, delivery of essential supplies, and cross-country coordination of our shopper strategy.

Role Responsibilities



  • Supporting the end-to-end operational strategy for couriers, including the distribution and activation of prepaid cards and delivery supplies critical for grocery order fulfillment.




  • Monitoring and optimizing logistics flows for shoppers and couriers across multiple cities and countries.




  • Collaborating in the design and implementation of regional strategies to improve efficiency and reliability in last-mile operations.




  • Leading and supporting data coordination efforts to ensure accurate tracking of prepaid card status, inventory of supplies, and shopper coverage.




  • Conducting benchmarking and best practice analysis related to courier and shopper operations.




  • Generating data-driven insights to improve execution speed, reduce inefficiencies, and scale our operational capabilities.




  • Participating in the design and rollout of new initiatives to empower our field teams with the right tools, training, and support to succeed.




  • Ensuring swift execution with attention to detail, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.



Role Qualifications


  • Student pursuing an Engineering, Business or related degree from a leading University/School, and with a good academic track record.

  • Passionate or strongly interested in the Technology and Start-up environment.

  • Analytical and structured with good problem solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Collaborative team player with positive attitude.

  • Willing to learn and develop his/her skillset; Self-motivated, proactive, with a can-do nature.

  • Highly proficient in both Spanish and English is essential Great command of Microsoft Office tools - particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Programming languages skills (Python, SQL and R) are highly appreciated but not required

  • Availability to work at least 6 hours per day or equivalent to 30 hours per week.

  • Prior experience in Business/Tech is a plus.
