Team Overview

At DiDi Food, we're reshaping the food delivery industry by leveraging technology to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, restaurant partners, and couriers. Our Small and Medium (SMEs) Restaurants Strategy team is looking for a Strategy Intern to support key initiatives that drive restaurant acquisition and business growth across Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Costa Rica.


This internship is ideal for students in their final years of university who are passionate about business strategy, eager to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, and excited to learn from experienced professionals in the field. As a Restaurant Strategy Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the implantation of initiatives, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with teams across the company.

Role Responsibilities



  1. Support the operational execution of the commercial offering plan, including platform setup and communication cadences.




  2. Address inquiries and resolve concerns from the commercial team regarding commercial campaigns.




  3. Help build dashboards to monitor performance metrics to support sessions with commercial teams in Mexico, Colombia, Perú and Costa Rica to ensure strategic consistency.




  4. Work on analysis to generate actionable insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement of the Restaurant Strategy team.




  5. Participate in internal meetings to discuss initiatives that improve order growth, identify top quality partners and quantify business opportunity.




 

Role Qualifications



  1. Currently enrolled at a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuary, or related fields (at least one year into graduation).




  2. Passionate or strongly interested in the Technology and Start-up environment.




  3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.




  4. Experienced in Spreadsheets (Excel /Google sheets). Comfortable about learning and using new software tools.




  5. Knowledge/Experience in SQL (Nice to have Python or R).




  6. Curiosity about automation and the use of tools to enhance time efficiency and process automation for repetitive tasks.




  7. Commitment and integrity, being able to balance and manage time effectively between school and work, to ensure tasks are delivered on time.




  8. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.




  9. Comfort working in a fast-paced, quick-changing, dynamic environment.




  10. Availability to attend the office at least half a day per week to build rapport and meet relevant stakeholders (preferred).
