Team Overview

Lead the Mexico advertising sales team to develop and execute localized sales strategies, unlock growth opportunities in the LatAm market, and drive commercialization breakthroughs for DiDi's advertising platform within mobility scenarios.


 

Role Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Revenue Ownership




  • Develop annual advertising sales strategy for Mexico, setting quarterly/monthly revenue targets with full P&L ownership




  • Design tiered client management strategies for key accounts (brands/4A agencies/local merchants)




  • Monitor competitive landscape (e.g., Uber Ads, Meta) and optimize pricing/resource allocation




2. Team Leadership & Enablement




  • Build and manage 10+ member sales team (Account Managers, Sales Ops, Strategy)




  • Establish training programs: product updates, negotiation skills, industry trends




  • Design incentive structures (OKR/KPI) to drive key account acquisition




3. Product Localization & Solutions




  • Collaborate with global product teams to adapt advertising products for local markets (e.g., in-ride ads, post-payment placements)




  • Architect custom solutions leveraging ad formats 




  • Develop sales toolkits: pricing models, ROI calculators, industry case studies




4. Cross-functional Collaboration




  • Represent DiDi Ads at industry events to expand agency partnerships




 

Role Qualifications


  • 7+ years in digital advertising sales with 3+ years team leadership (programmatic/platforms preferred)

  • Experience at leading media platforms (Google Ads, Meta) strongly valued

  • Mastery of LatAm advertising ecosystems (programmatic buying, anti-fraud measures.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, DSP/SSP platforms, and BI tools.

  • Language: Native Spanish, Business English fluency (daily collaboration with NY/Beijing HQ).
