Team Overview

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at DiDi, you’ll work closely with your fellow analysts while serving as the bridge to Product, Operations, and Finance teams. You’ll turn raw numbers into actionable insights that shape strategy and execution across the region. This is your opportunity to sharpen your analytical skills, tackle real-world marketplace challenges, and become a key driver of DiDi’s data-driven success—leveraging one of the world’s most vast and dynamic data ecosystems.


 

Role Responsibilities


  • Project Management – Lead analytical projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery. Ensure milestones are met and priorities are aligned across teams.

  • Stakeholder Management – Act as the primary bridge between BI and cross-functional partners. Build strong relationships with Product, Operations, and Finance stakeholders, ensuring analytical outputs meet their strategic needs.

  • Continuous Improvement – Refine BI processes, implement best practices, and proactively introduce new tools and methodologies to raise the team’s impact.

  • Dashboard & Reporting – Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business-critical KPIs.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis – Conduct deep-dive analyses, test hypotheses, and surface hidden patterns to support data-driven decisions.

  • Data Visualization & Communication – Present insights in compelling, business-friendly formats that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Innovation & Learning – Stay ahead of BI trends and continuously expand your toolkit, from SQL and visualization platforms to advanced analytics techniques.

Role Qualifications

Must-Haves



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years in data analytics with proven ability to deliver actionable insights.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage analytical projects from start to finish and align multiple stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into analytical solutions.

  • Technical Skills:
    - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
    - Intermediate to advanced SQL.
    - Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate clear recommendations.

  • Communication: Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong storytelling skills to influence diverse audiences.

  • Adaptability: Comfort with fast-paced, evolving priorities and ambiguous challenges.



Preferred




  • Programming Skills: Familiarity with Python or R for deeper data manipulation and modeling.




  • Industry Experience: Exposure to mobility, tech, or marketplace operations.




  • Advanced Analytics: Knowledge of predictive modeling, A/B testing, or other statistical techniques.




  • Leadership Potential: Interest and ability to mentor junior analysts and grow into people management.




  • Curiosity & Growth: Eagerness to experiment, learn, and expand analytical capabilities with emerging tools and methods.
