Team Overview

Being the lead of the Operations team for the new Dark Kitchen vertical at DiDi Food will give you the unique opportunity to help drive growth in one of the fastest-growing companies in LATAM. You will be involved in the definition and execution of the business operations. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of consumer-inspired analytical thinking, execution excellence & interpersonal ability. You will have the opportunity to work in a tight team, where you will have a clear impact on the launch, development and growth of the Didi Dark Kitchen business in LATAM. Role Responsibilities

Develop the regional strategy for the Dark Kitchens vertical across Latam: establish methodology for identification and evaluation, undertake market research and build insights that translate into business growth opportunities. Become an influential stakeholder in the regional operations team along with commercial team. Translate strategy into results: manage execution against key milestones and targets; manage a high performing team that is responsible for city operations and growth optimization Proactively conduct and coordinate analysis to define optimal ways of improving operations and processes at a national level. Provide thought partnership as needed to other functions in the region. Manage multi-functional projects: manage projects with complex, multi-functional scope that stretch across departments within the organization. Be a relentless advocate for the restaurant experience and growth; and translate that perspective into initiatives across teams that touch product operations, marketing and communications at a national and regional level. Ensure the right development of the team: model a culture that prioritizes open feedback and structures the development of a team of high-performing analysts and interns.

Role Qualifications

8+ years of demonstrated success in high-performance environments with strategy and operations focus Bachelor/ Master degree in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science a plus) Thought leader: you have robust experience managing level high-performing multi-level teams Clear strategic thinker: you are used to navigate ambiguous, data-rich environments to define a strategic vision and structure it into actionable components for a team. Data-driven manager: The use of logic and data is central to your decision-making process. It is paramount to strategies you craft and decisions you make.  You also have enough familiarity with analytical tools to manage a team who uses them day-to-day Passion to drive changes and improvement: you have experience defining and implementing scalable processes and solutions Hands-on mentality and self-starter: you feel comfortable taking ownership to ensure solutions at micro and macro level Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively within the team and in the organization Full proficiency in English & Spanish
