Team Overview

Play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and profitability by analyzing market trends and competitor pricing strategies. This role involves developing and implementing pricing models, strategies, and recommendations that align with the company's goals and market positioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, categories, and product, to ensure pricing decisions are well-informed and strategically sound.

Role Responsibilities


  • Gather and analyze market data, trends, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions. Monitor changes in market conditions and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models that incorporate various variables such as demand/supply elasticity, customer segmentation, and market trends.

  • Continuously review and optimize pricing structures to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with changing market dynamics.

  • Utilize statistical tools and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. Present findings to leadership and make recommendations based on data-driven insights.

  • Create regular reports and presentations to communicate pricing performance, trends, and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency in pricing-related tasks.

  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, but this should be our strength.

Role Qualifications


  • 1-2 years’ experience in rider share, food delivery, Strategy Consulting or other professional services with a proven track record in using data to drive business decisions

  • Experience with data-based decision-making, exercising good judgment in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team.

  • Strong Excel skills a must, other database experience is helpful. Comfortable learning and using new software tools.

  • Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure solutions.

  • Distinctive problem-solving - ability to break down ambiguous problems, put structure and use data-driven insights to solve them

  • Clear Communicator - you are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesise a lot of information quickly and highlight the key insights.
