Team Overview

You’ll be joining the Commercial Enablement team at 99Food, a high-impact area that supports the national sales force with the tools usage, knowledge, culture, and strategies they need to perform at the highest level.


As Sales Engagement Manager, your mission will be to build and scale a culture of high performance, passion, and excellence within our sales teams. You’ll be responsible for cascading and operationalizing all sales engagement initiatives, from performance-driven sales campaigns to inspiring events and rituals that spark energy, recognition, and belonging across all regions.


This is a leadership role with cross-functional actions, working closely with Sales teams. You’ll lead a team of specialists and be responsible for creating a vibrant, unified, and results-oriented sales culture at scale.

Role Responsibilities



  • Own the execution, and performance tracking of all sales campaigns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) including rules, themes, gamification mechanisms, dashboards, and real-time ranking.




  • Support the end-to-end experience of key commercial events such as the National Sales Convention, regional off-sites, performance celebrations, kick-offs, and other ad-hoc gatherings.




  • Develop and embed rituals of recognition, motivation, and team spirit that create emotional connection with the sales mission and drive a "hungry-to-win" mindset.




  • Serve as guardian of Sales Culture, reinforcing the behaviors, attitudes, and values expected from top-performing commercial professionals at 99Food.




  • Use audiovisual content, storytelling, music, creative assets, internal communication, and digital platforms to energize the field force and celebrate achievements.




  • Work closely with field sales leadership to measure engagement, morale, and performance impact, adjusting initiatives accordingly to stay aligned with business outcomes.




  • Collaborate with other teams to elevate the commercial narrative and ensure alignment across company-wide messaging.




  • Manage a team of Specialists, supporting their development, execution capacity, and cross-functional collaboration.



Role Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications or Commercial Events, with proven success in designing initiatives that drive results and connection.




  • Experience leading sales campaigns and incentive programs that drive revenue impact and create buzz across large commercial teams.




  • Strong project management and event execution skills, from ideation to post-mortem analysis, with attention to detail, creativity, and ownership.




  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; you’re able to create energy through content, presentations, visuals, or storytelling.




  • Demonstrated ability to manage people, motivate high-performance teams, and influence leaders.




  • Comfort with data and KPIs; ability to connect engagement actions with commercial outcomes.




  • High emotional intelligence, ability to connect with different audiences, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.




  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
