Team Overview

We are looking for a motivated and curious Government Affairs Intern to join our Andean Region team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of public policy, business strategy, and stakeholder engagement, while also providing vital administrative and operational support to help the team achieve its goals. 

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, preparing agendas, and maintaining organized records. 

• Monitoring political, economic, and regulatory developments that impact our business.

• Conducting research and preparing briefing materials to support policy positions and stakeholder engagement.

• Helping to design and produce impactful, data-driven materials using tools like Canva.

• Coordinating logistics for meetings, events, and interactions with government officials, industry associations, and partners.

• Collaborating with team members across functions to align advocacy efforts with broader business objectives.

• Learning directly from experienced professionals in government affairs, public policy, and stakeholder management. 

 

Role Qualifications

• Fast learner with strong curiosity for public policy and its business implications.


• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.


• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.


• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. • Collaborative team player with adaptability in a fast-changing environment.


• Passion for technology and digital platforms.


• Experience with Canva and other content creation tools.


• Data-driven approach; comfortable with Excel, dashboards, and visualization tools.


• Strong research and analytical skills.


• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Economics, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or related fields.
