Our Small and Medium Restaurants Strategy team is looking for an Analyst with strong Data Science and analytical skills, passionate about solving complex problems and supporting commercial decision-making through data. This role is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Costa Rica, applying advanced analytics to directly influence business outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of data, strategy, and operations, ensuring that insights are transformed into actions that drive restaurant growth and strengthen DiDi Food’s leadership in the food delivery market.

Role Responsibilities



  • Analyzing large datasets using SQL and Python to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions;




  • Building predictive models and statistical analyses to evaluate restaurant performance and forecast business trends;




  • Designing and executing data experiments (e.g., causal inference methods, uplift modeling, or time-series analysis) to measure the impact of initiatives and promotions;




  • Creating dashboards and data visualizations to provide clear and actionable insights to the commercial team;




  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (strategy, operations, product, and commercial) to translate data into concrete business actions;




  • Contributing to scalable analytical frameworks that improve decision-making and operational efficiency across markets;




  • Automating recurring analyses and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy in business monitoring;




  • Exploring new data sources and methodologies to continuously improve how we understand restaurant and customer behavior.



Role Qualifications



  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets using SQL and Python;




  • Solid foundation in statistics, data modeling, and quantitative analysis to support business decision-making;




  • The ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations;




  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to build impactful dashboards;




  • A problem-solving mindset, with curiosity to explore data and identify opportunities for growth;




  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;




  • A passion for leveraging data and technology to improve business performance.
