Team Overview

Our technical team is the engine that powers our most innovative partnerships. We are the bridge between 99's platform and the outside world, designing and implementing the integrations that make ambitious ideas a reality. As a Solutions Architect, you will be the lead technical expert for Brazil, architecting API integrations with public and private entities and building automations that streamline our business processes. This role is crucial for our expansion into MaaS and beyond.

Role Responsibilities



  • Leading the technical discovery and design for integrations with external partners, primarily focusing on REST/SOAP APIs.




  • Architecting robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that connect 99's platform with third-party systems.




  • Developing business process automations using both front-end and back-end technologies to improve internal efficiency and partnership operations.




  • Acting as the primary technical liaison between Brazilian partners and our global Product Management teams in China, requiring excellent English communication skills.




  • Writing clear technical documentation, specifications, and diagrams to guide development and ensure alignment across all teams.




  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues during and after implementation, providing expert guidance to ensure project success.




 

Role Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Architect, API Specialist, Integration Engineer, or Full-Stack Developer.




  • Deep, hands-on expertise in designing and consuming APIs (REST, SOAP) and working with common data formats (JSON, XML).




  • Proven experience in process automation with proficiency in back-end (e.g., Python, Node.js) and front-end (e.g., JavaScript) technologies.




  • Excellent professional proficiency in English, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to international teams.




  • A problem-solver's mindset, with the ability to analyze complex systems and design elegant, effective solutions. Experience with public transport data standards (GTFS/GTFS-RT) is a major bonus.
