Team Overview

The Merchant Promo team is responsible for designing and executing the promotional and communication strategy that drives merchant growth and platform competitiveness. Acting as a bridge between commercial, marketing, and operations, this team ensures that promotional investments and campaigns deliver measurable impact for both partners and the business. As Merchant Promo Senior Manager, you will lead category-level promo strategies, field activation plans, and launch campaigns for key accounts, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and sustainable growth.

Role Responsibilities


  • Developing and executing promotion field strategies to drive growth across merchant categories.

  • Designing category-specific promo plans to optimize sales, margins, and competitiveness.

  • Leading launch campaigns for key accounts, coordinating commercial and marketing actions.

  • Collaborating with Marketing to design and deliver merchant-focused communication campaigns (including in-app visibility, trade marketing, and offline activations).

  • Partnering with Sales, Ops, and Finance to ensure that promo investments are ROI-driven and measurable.

  • Monitoring and analyzing promo performance, providing data-driven insights to refine strategies.

  • Benchmarking competitors’ promotional activities to identify opportunities and gaps.

  • Scaling best practices and building playbooks for merchant promotions across categori

Role Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in promotions, trade marketing, category management, or commercial strategy (retail, e-commerce, or CPG preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with ability to measure ROI and optimize promo investments.

  • Proven track record in campaign design and cross-functional execution.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence sales, marketing, and external partners.

  • Strategic thinking with entrepreneurial and hands-on approach.

  • Experience in fast-paced or tech-driven environments (desired).

  • Portuguese proficiency (mandatory); English highly recommended; Mandarin is a strong plus.
