Team Overview

The Global Mobility Service Manager oversees the planning, management, and execution of global mobility programs to support the organization’s global workforce. This role ensures seamless relocation, immigration compliance, and assignment management for employees, while driving cost efficiency and employee satisfaction. The position serves as a key liaison between HR, business leaders, and external service providers to ensure a smooth mobility experience.

Role Responsibilities

Global Mobility Program Management:



  • Design, implement, and manage global assignment policies and procedures, including long-term, short-term, and permanent relocations.

  • Partner with HR and leadership to align mobility strategies with organizational goals.

  • Manage vendor relationships with relocation, tax, and immigration service providers. 


Immigration and Compliance:



  • Ensure compliance with global immigration laws and work authorization requirements.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risks and maintain accurate employee documentation.

  • Stay updated on global mobility trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.


Employee Support:



  • Provide end-to-end support to employees and their families during relocations, including orientation, housing, and cultural integration.

  • Address and resolve employee inquiries and challenges related to mobility services

  • Budget and Cost Management:

  • Monitor mobility budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service quality.

  • Analyze and report on cost trends, proposing recommendations to improve program efficiency.


Data Management and Reporting:



  • Maintain accurate records of global assignments and related activities.

  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and mobility metrics for leadership.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Work closely with HR, payroll, tax, and legal teams to ensure seamless mobility processes.

  • Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and tax implications for globally mobile employees.


Visa and Immigration Management:



  • Manage and process visa applications for business travelers, ensuring timely submission and compliance with country-specific requirement

  • Coordinate work permits and residence permits for international assignees.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration regulations and visa requirements globally.

Role Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in global mobility, HR, or related areas

  • Knowledge of global immigration, tax, and labor laws. 

  • Proficiency in HR software and mobility management tools (e.g., Workday, assignment management software).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.

  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
