Team Overview

The Communications team for Argentina and Chile plays a central role in shaping DiDi’s reputation and presence across both markets. Working closely with local business, marketing, and government affairs teams—as well as agency partners—the team drives integrated communication strategies that strengthen the company’s brand positioning, manage its public image, and support key business priorities.


This role is based in Buenos Aires with a strong connection between both markets - Argentina  & Chile. The team works in a fast-moving environment that demands strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on leadership across internal and external stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

As Communications Manager for Argentina and Chile (D7), you will:



  • Lead strategic communications across both countries, managing agencies, budgets, and integrated plans aligned with business priorities.

  • Develop and execute storytelling that elevates DiDi’s brand and reputation through earned, owned, and digital channels.

  • Build and sustain strong media relations, particularly with key outlets and journalists in Argentina and Chile.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on communications strategy, positioning, and reputation management.

  • Anticipate and manage crises, ensuring fast, consistent, and effective responses in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Balance strategic foresight with operational agility, moving seamlessly between long-term planning and short-term execution.

  • Lead with autonomy and influence, coordinating projects end to end, from concept to delivery.

  • Drive innovation through creative storytelling, digital activation, and fresh thinking in how we connect with audiences.
