Team Overview

The Lead Acquisition & Intelligence team is responsible for identifying and qualifying the right merchants to join our platform, ensuring that sales teams focus on the most relevant opportunities.  As a Market Research Analyst, you will deep-dive into competitor landscapes, market trends, and coverage gaps to deliver actionable intelligence that shapes our merchant acquisition approach.

Role Responsibilities


  • Conducting comprehensive competitor mapping across regions (coverage, pricing, delivery slots).

  • Analyzing market trends and local player dynamics in key categories (supermarkets, pharmacies, beverages stores).

  • Identifying white spaces and coverage gaps through systematic market analysis.

  • Monitoring competitor strategies, promotional activities, and market positioning.

  • Developing market intelligence reports that inform acquisition targeting and strategy.

  • Supporting pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking initiatives.

  • Tracking industry developments and emerging players that could impact our market position.

  • Collaborating with leads management team to translate market insights into actionable opportunities.

Role Qualifications


  • Background in Business, Economics, Marketing, Market Research, or related fields.

  • Strong research skills with experience in competitive analysis and market intelligence.

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with research tools and databases.

  • Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex market information into clear insights.

  • Experience with web scraping, data collection methodologies, or similar research techniques.

  • Strong written communication skills for creating comprehensive market reports.

  • Fluency in English (mandatory) – multicultural exposure and frequent interaction with China.
