We believe in technology that connects talented people who embrace diversity to create and share paths we don't even know about (yet!). We work to generate value not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and for society as a whole, making every day better for everyone with mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay).

To make life easier for millions of people every day, since 2018, we have been part of DiDi DiDi Global Inc., the world’s leading mobility technology platform. We are pioneers in creating innovative solutions that start in Brazil and scale up to make a positive impact in more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. This innovation encompasses sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and much more.

Whether building projects from scratch or improving our solutions, we enjoy challenges that give us butterflies, which is why we work at a fast pace with respect, collaboration, and good humor. Along this journey, we also draw strength from diverse experiences and opinions to grow together, fail quickly, learn, and adjust the course to create solutions that deliver even better results.

Team Overview

The Merchant Growth Planning team acts as the financial and tactical bridge between Growth strategy (B-side) and Sales execution (C-side). This role ensures that every commercial initiative — from policy definition to merchant prioritization — is financially coherent, operationally viable, and strategically aligned with the company’s P&L goals. As the Merchant Performance Sr Analyst, you will be the analytical specialist responsible for modeling, measuring, and reporting the effectiveness of commercial policies and merchant investment models. This position ensures that all Growth and Sales efforts are guided by accurate performance metrics and actionable business insights.

Role Responsibilities

  • Designing and maintaining complex performance models to measure the ROI and effectiveness of promotional campaigns and merchant incentives.

  • Acting as the primary analytical lead for the rollout of the global commercial policy, translating strategic frameworks into quantitative measurement tools.

  • Performing in-depth analysis on merchant prioritization frameworks to optimize investment and resource allocation across different segments, cities, or categories.

  • Developing and sustaining dedicated dashboards and reporting structures to provide a real-time view of merchant performance against P&L goals.

  • Translating high-level financial impacts and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for Sales and Growth leadership.

  • Collaborating closely with Finance to ensure alignment between commercial policy inputs and final P&L reporting.

  • Proactively identifying performance gaps or underutilized investments and proposing solutions to maximize merchant growth efficiency.

Role Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in deep-dive analysis within Sales Operations, Performance Management, or Commercial Planning, ideally in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.

  • Strong understanding of commercial policy dynamics, sales incentives, and core business metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, ROI).

  • Expert-level analytical and modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets and proven proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data extraction and visualization.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, leading analytical projects from scope definition to final presentation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data logic into clear business narratives.

  • Portuguese proficiency (mandatory); English highly recommended.

  • A highly proactive, structured, and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

  • We believe in Diversity and Inclusion – Diversity is one of our biggest strengths. Our differences are what makes us distinct. We respect each other and believe in equal opportunities for all.
Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity is not a future vision or a wish for something we want someday; it is a non-negotiable value of who we are today.

We embrace inclusion, plurality, and respect, and to achieve this, we rely on the governance of the Diversity Committee, which works alongside HR, our leadership, and identity groups—99Adapta, 99Afro, 99Colors, 99Womem, and 99Familys.

This is our ongoing journey, with much more still to come.

We reinforce that this position is open to everyone, including pregnant people and people with disabilities (PwD).
