The 99 Creative Hub is looking for a Brand Design Manager to lead, inspire, and scale the visual expression of our brand. We are a multidisciplinary and diverse team focused on driving brand and business growth through strategic and impactful creativity.

We are seeking a Brand Design Manager with strong creative vision, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business goals into cohesive brand experiences.
This role will lead the evolution of 99Food visual identity, building systems, design standards, and creative frameworks that strengthen consistency and inspire innovation across campaigns, digital platforms, and communication touchpoints.

Role Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team across branding, visual design, campaigns and product marketing;

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and creative excellence;

  • Guide the team to balance business objectives with bold, high-quality creative execution.

  • Oversee and evolve the 99 brand identity, ensuring it remains consistent, flexible, and globally relevant;

  • Build and maintain scalable brand systems and toolkits to support marketing, product, and communication initiatives;

  • Ensure every design expression reflects 99’s purpose, tone, and visual principles.

  • Translate strategy into visually compelling stories across all touchpoints — from campaigns and digital content to OOH and events;

  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and marketers to deliver cohesive creative narratives;

  • Maintain a high design standard while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Partner with marketing, content, product, and operations teams to bring brand experiences to life;

  • Collaborate with global DiDi creative teams to align local and international design initiatives;

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners.

  • Monitor design, culture, and technology trends to ensure the brand stays relevant and forward-thinking;

  • Promote a data-informed approach to creativity, using insights to refine and elevate visual communication;

  • Champion experimentation and design innovation within the team.

Role Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or related fields; postgraduate studies in Design Leadership, Branding, or Creative Strategy are a plus.

  • 7+ years of professional experience in brand and design, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial position.

  • Proven experience building and maintaining brand identity systems, visual guidelines, and large-scale campaigns.

  • Portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, visual storytelling, and high-impact creative solutions across digital and offline platforms.

  • Deep understanding of brand architecture, visual hierarchy, and multi-brand ecosystems.

  • Experience leading rebranding projects or brand evolution initiatives in fast-paced, consumer-facing industries.

  • Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, and motion principles, with an ability to elevate the overall visual craft.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com, Asana, or Notion.

  • Experience with digital design principles, UX/UI collaboration, and ensuring brand consistency across digital interfaces.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills — able to articulate creative rationale and influence decision-making.

  • Comfort leading creative reviews, giving and receiving feedback constructively, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Understanding of marketing strategy, campaign planning, and how design contributes to brand growth and performance.

  • A global mindset with sensitivity to cultural nuances and diversity in visual communication.

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, balancing creativity with operational efficiency.

  • Advanced English for collaboration with international teams and global partners; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

  • Curiosity for new technologies and practical experience integrating AI tools or automation into creative workflows to improve efficiency, exploration, and innovation.
