Job Title: Compliance Intern


Location: Mexico / Hybrid


Job Type: Full-time


Reports To: Compliance Manager


Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to join our Compliance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in the compliance field, supporting various compliance activities, including policy research, documentation, training, and compliance monitoring. The intern will have the chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to ensuring our organization adheres to the highest standards of compliance.

Role Responsibilities

  Policy Research and Documentation:



  • Assist in researching and gathering information on compliance regulations and best practices relevant to our business operations.

  • Support the drafting, review, and updating of compliance policies and procedures.


  Compliance Monitoring:



  • Help in monitoring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data to identify potential compliance risks.


  Training and Awareness:



  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of compliance training materials and presentations.

  • Support the organization of compliance-related events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.


  Compliance Investigations:



  • Provide support in compliance investigations by organizing documentation, conducting preliminary research, and summarizing findings.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of investigations and follow-up actions.


  Administrative Support:



  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to compliance, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing reports.

  • Support the Compliance Director and team with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Role Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

  • Strong interest in ethics and compliance, regulatory affairs, or corporate governance.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to the regions supported (LATAM, Middle East, North Africa) are a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:



  • Previous internship or work experience in a corporate environment is an asset.

  • Basic understanding of ethics and compliance concepts and principles.

  • Familiarity with compliance management software and tools is a plus.
