Team Overview

As DiDi's CX Planning & Control Manager, you will oversees budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis, leading a team to provide insights for business decisions, analyzing performance, building models, and collaborating with leadership to align financial goals with company objectives, requiring strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. You will join the CX team, partnering with CX operations, Finance, Product, Operations, Analytics, among other teams to translate strategic priorities into measurable CX plans, controls, and corrective actions to achieve our budget goals. Main responsibilities include developing financial plans incl annual budget, monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, and creating reports, supported by technical skills in financial software. 


 


 

Role Responsibilities


  • Manage, lead and develop annual and long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, collaborating with leadership.

    • Manage annual budget negotiations and update accordingly during the year, providing the right visibility to stakeholders and establishing the discipline require to improve hte annual budgeting process



  • Analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for various business scenarios, potential investments, and business cases.

  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and recommend areas for improvement or cost reduction.

  • Create financial models, dashboards, and detailed reports for senior management. Share frequent reports and updates with key stakeholder on time.

  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business drivers and provide insights to CX Ops leaders and key support funtions to improve performance

  • Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to formulate strategic plans, align financial goals with business objectives, and provide actionable insights.

  • Define and establish a solid governance with key stakeholders from CX and Business lines to improve visibility and alignemnt throughout the year

  • Identify and implement process improvements in planning, reporting, and financial systems (ERP, FP&A software, BI tools) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Build trust and strengthen relationships with Finance BPs and key business leaders

  •  Oversee and mentor a team of financial analysts, promoting continuous improvement in financial processes and system. Develop and build a high performing team

Role Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is essential, with a CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA often highly preferred.

  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, minimum of 2-3 years in an FP&A leadership or management role

  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing complex financial modeling, scenario and sensitivity analysis, data cleansing, etc.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated program and project management capability, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end and delivering measurable business outcomes on time.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence and create strong relationships with senior leaders, regional operators, and product teams in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment.
