If you see technology as a way to smooth your path in life, our team does too: Your Path, Our Journey.
We believe in technology that connects talented people who embrace diversity to create and share paths we don't even know about (yet!). We work to generate value not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and for society as a whole, making every day better for everyone with mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay).
To make life easier for millions of people every day, since 2018, we have been part of DiDi DiDi Global Inc., the world’s leading mobility technology platform. We are pioneers in creating innovative solutions that start in Brazil and scale up to make a positive impact in more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. This innovation encompasses sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and much more.
Whether building projects from scratch or improving our solutions, we enjoy challenges that give us butterflies, which is why we work at a fast pace with respect, collaboration, and good humor. Along this journey, we also draw strength from diverse experiences and opinions to grow together, fail quickly, learn, and adjust the course to create solutions that deliver even better results.
#LI-HybridAt 99 Logistics, our Growth Operations teams move fast — but speed often creates complexity: manual spreadsheets, fragmented metrics, and operational routines that don’t scale.
The Ops Tech Manager exists to solve exactly this problem.
In this role, you will build the technology layer that powers Growth Operations, transforming manual operational work into automated, scalable systems. Instead of running the operation yourself, you will design and deploy the tools that make the operation run faster, smarter, and more reliably.
You’ll work at the intersection of data, automation, and AI, building internal tools, dashboards, predictive models, and AI-driven workflows that eliminate manual work and unlock better decision-making across C2C, B2C, and Freight logistics.
This role is ideal for someone who thinks like an engineer of operations: someone who sees repetitive work and immediately asks, “How can we automate this?”
Design and implement internal tools and automation systems that support Growth Operations teams.
Replace manual operational routines (spreadsheets, manual reports, repetitive analysis) with scalable automation.
Develop tools that improve operational efficiency and decision-making across logistics verticals (C2C, B2C, Freight).
Act as the guardian of operational data quality and consistency across teams.
Ensure key metrics across the organization are standardized, reliable, and aligned.
Build frameworks that turn operational data into actionable insights.
Implement AI-driven workflows to automate repetitive operational analysis.
Develop predictive models to shift from reactive reporting to proactive forecasting.
Leverage LLMs to summarize operational reports, analyze customer feedback, or classify operational signals.
Create intuitive dashboards and operational tools that help teams quickly understand performance and act.
Move beyond static reporting into real-time monitoring and automated alerts.
Build systems that notify teams when operational metrics deviate from expected patterns.
Analyze operational processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Work closely with Growth Ops teams to translate operational problems into technical solutions.
Continuously improve the internal toolkit that powers the logistics operation.
6+ years of experience in Data, Analytics Engineering, Ops Tech, or Automation-focused roles.
Strong experience with Python, SQL, and data automation workflows.
Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or data pipelines.
Ability to translate operational problems into technical solutions.
Strong product mindset when building tools for internal users.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Experience working in marketplaces, logistics, mobility, or operations-heavy environments.
Familiarity with AI / LLM tools and automation frameworks.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
Background in Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or Ops Engineering.
Diversity is not a future vision or a wish for something we want someday; it is a non-negotiable value of who we are today.
We embrace inclusion, plurality, and respect, and to achieve this, we rely on the governance of the Diversity Committee, which works alongside HR, our leadership, and identity groups—99Adapta, 99Afro, 99Colors, 99Womem, and 99Familys.
This is our ongoing journey, with much more still to come.
