#LI-HybridJoining the Marketplace Team means contributing to one of the most critical pillars of the business: balancing supply and demand. As part of the broader City Operations organization, the Marketplace team is responsible for driving user engagement and retention, while ensuring supply is allocated efficiently and on time to deliver a great experience for both Drivers and Passengers in the app.
This internship offers the opportunity to develop deep insights into the ride-hailing business from user, pricing, marketplace, and competitive perspectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, highly organized, and execution-focused. They are proactive, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to cross-functional projects and high-impact initiatives.
Support the development of strategies to improve driver and passenger engagement, loyalty, and retention.
Help design and implement initiatives to balance marketplace supply and demand more efficiently.
Analyze data to understand day-to-day user behavior, marketplace dynamics, and competitive trends.
Identify opportunities to improve operational KPIs through tools, programs, and data-driven recommendations.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and User Research to keep the user experience at the center of marketplace decisions.
Contribute to projects and initiatives that strengthen marketplace performance and business growth.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proactive, curious, and passionate about creating impact.
