Team Overview

The Sales Performance Team sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, sales execution, and performance management.

Our team is responsible for translating business priorities into clear and measurable Sales OKRs, breaking them down into actionable initiatives and performance indicators, and continuously assessing whether our sales organization is moving toward the right outcomes.

We work closely with Sales Leadership, Regional Operations, Commercial Planning, and other cross-functional teams to connect strategy with frontline execution. Rather than simply tracking performance, we aim to understand what drives results, identify performance gaps and opportunities, and work with our partners to design scalable solutions that can be translated into clear actions for the sales organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most important questions behind our commercial organization: What should Sales focus on? How should strategic priorities be translated into measurable goals? What actions can drive those goals? And how do we know whether those actions are actually working?

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the design and evolution of Sales OKRs, helping translate broader business and commercial priorities into clear, measurable objectives for the sales organization.

  • Breaking down Sales OKRs into actionable performance drivers, identifying the key initiatives, levers, and metrics that can influence each objective.

  • Partnering closely with Regional Operations, Commercial Heads, Sales Leaders, and Commercial Planning to identify performance gaps, understand root causes, and co-develop practical solutions.

  • Translating strategic initiatives into repeatable, measurable, and actionable Sales KPIs, creating a clear connection between business objectives and frontline sales execution.

  • Providing recommendations on how targets and initiatives should be cascaded across different sales teams, regions, segments, and roles, while considering differences in market maturity and business context.

  • Conducting regular Sales OKR and performance reviews, analyzing progress against targets, identifying key drivers behind over- or under-performance, and highlighting areas that require intervention.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing KPIs and sales initiatives, assessing whether they are driving the intended behaviors and business outcomes, and recommending adjustments when needed.

  • Developing structured analyses and performance insights to support leadership decision-making, turning complex business and sales data into clear recommendations and priorities.

  • Supporting cross-functional projects related to sales productivity, performance management, sales strategy, and operational excellence, from problem definition through implementation and performance tracking.

  • Helping continuously improve our Sales Performance management framework, including OKR methodology, KPI definitions, review mechanisms, and performance governance.

Role Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Commercial Planning, Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Analytics, or other related functions.

  • Previous experience working closely with a sales organization, with a solid understanding of how sales teams operate and how sales planning, performance management, and commercial strategies are translated into execution.

  • Experience in sales planning and/or sales strategy, including areas such as target setting, KPI design, performance reviews, sales productivity, or strategic initiative management.

  • Experience in a transactional business, marketplace, or multi-sided platform is highly preferred. Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, mobility, fintech, or other high-frequency marketplace businesses would be a plus.

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems into logical components, identify key drivers, conduct root-cause analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Solid foundation in data analysis, with confidence working with large datasets and using data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and support business decisions. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets is expected; SQL or BI tools would be a plus.

  • Ability to connect strategy, metrics, and execution — understanding not only what the numbers are showing, but also what actions the organization should take as a result.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Operations, Commercial Planning, Data, Product, and leadership teams.

  • Good project management fundamentals, with the ability to structure workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, and drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly structure and present complex topics to both operational teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and international working environment.
